Merck-y practices...

An update on my previous post regarding the Merck/Vioxx situation... I am waiting to see how Dubya spins this so as to blame it on trial lawyers or something...

An aside: The the guy who was the head of the clinical trial which was responsible for getting Merck to finally pull Vioxx is at UNC. I happened to have a meeting with him (on an unrelated subject) the day Vioxx got pulled. Kinda cool.
