Man, that dude is a total Bank Robber...

This is pretty absurd... Falwell claims he "chose" to be heterosexual. He also obliquely compared homosexuality to bank robbery, which Michael at Here's What's Left seized upon for some pretty awesome commentary:

You probably think I'm making this stuff up. I'm not. Jerry Falwell actually compared being gay to being a bank robber. Now, I've heard right-wingers compare homosexuality to various things, in the wake of the Mary Cheney thing last month -- alcoholism, abortion, obesity -- but I think being a bank robber is a first.

But, ya know, if you kind of play with the phrase, you can get get somewhere with it... so we propose that, in honor of Jerry Falwell, we all start using the phrase "robbing the bank" to as a euphemism for gay sex. And while you're at it, don't stop there. Get creative: "Oh yeah, baby, take my money." "Yes, stick that gun in my face."

He did miss the most obvious line however... "I'm about to make a deposit!"
