Ezra Klein from Pandagon and Matt Yglesias from TAPPED have been wondering if party unity might be a bit more fragile for the Republicans since there is no real successor to Bush at this point.

The thought is interesting, but in discussing the various horses for such a race, I wonder why they forgot one of the most important figures: Jeb. Sure, Jeb has the stain of the Florida Fiasco on him, and the national press gets a chub over McCain and Rudy, but if the base loves Dubya, I think they will love his brother too. Plus, the family really knows how to run an ol' fashioned dirty campaign...

As for the Dems, will we see HRC '08? I don’t want to use this post to debate the merits of a Hillary Clinton nomination, but rather just link to this post that suggests it that the worries many have (including me) regarding the possibility of her candidacy. Remember, this is a FOX poll…
