Rewarding Work

This is a great Op-Ed by Illinois Representative Rahm Emanual… changing the tax code to favor the working and middle class is a great populist message that is not empty at its core (i.e. it is a real problem). Furthermore, it is not one that the right will be able to take and pervert into their own issue prior to the mid-term elections… if the stress on the middle and working class continues from now until then, that, combined with a win on social security, could make a very powerful message.
