But does it protect against Stupid Human Virus (ShuV)?

I get done looking at stuff like this and wonder when my outrage at all the madness and insanity will end... I really shouldn't be surprised at this point.

Unless it isn't apparent to you, this isn't incompetence of the people who put the material together... multiple errors like this that so obviously funnel you in a particular direction are ideological in nature. The Medical Institute of Sexual Health (an official-sounding name, eh?) is focused on abstinance-only education advocacy... which is fine I guess, but it doesn't give you license to tell lies or cite a bunch of crap and says it magically proves your theories.
Example:

The study, entitled “Building Healthy Futures: Tools for Helping Adolescents Avoid or Delay the Onset of Sexual Activity,” cites mostly unpublished, non-peer reviewed studies to argue that abstinence-only education has a positive impact on teens’ sexual behavior. This contradicts overwhelming evidence from peer-reviewed evaluations of sexuality education programs that show that age-appropriate comprehensive sexuality education programs that include information about contraception as well as promote abstinence are the most effective form of sexuality education for young people.

Though MISH presents its study from a medical perspective and as being medically sound, other more prominent establishments of the medical profession disagree. The American Medical Association, the American Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics all support comprehensive sexuality education.

The administration also sent a minor lackey to attack Waxman:

Alma Golden, deputy assistant secretary for population affairs in the Department of Health and Human Services, said in a statement that the Waxman report was a political document that did a "disservice to our children." Speaking as a pediatrician, Golden said, she knows "abstaining from sex is the most effective means of preventing the sexual transmission of HIV, STDs and preventing pregnancy."
Well Alma, I don't disagree with you... abstinance is the most effective means. Nobody says it isn't. People also say the best way to avoid being killed in a car accident is to avoid driving or riding in cars... the problem is that people aren't going to stop doing so anytime soon, so you should teach 'em how to use the safety belt.

Man, I hate stupid people...
