Staying with Political Animal, Kevin pauses to admire the take-down of the somewhat moderate Arlen Specter by the religious right (led by Mullah Dobson).

Gotta disagree with Kevin on this one... Specter personally handed Dobson a shotgun, got into a barrel, and started swimmin'. It was an easy hand to play... the only thing difficult about it was that they had so many good options to choose from. Like a kid in a candy store. Hell, even I could have played that hand since Specter placed his cards on the table for all to see. Specter is now compromised on every issue that comes across his desk... as long as the chair position is his overriding thought, he is in the bag for the White House.
